Loved Liston Family B&B!

Reviewed 11 July 2017

We enjoyed a full week's stay with Jill at her B&B. She's very welcoming, friendly, has great tips on local places to visit, knows the Dingle Peninsula well! The room was very comfortable, had all the amenities plus hot water pot available for a late night cup of tea or hot chocolate. Our room was very airy, light and pleasant. We opened our windows in the morning and were greeted by local sheep across the road or the horses that roamed the pasture. Beautiful views from her location. The Liston Family B&B is quiet, restful and just a short drive to Dingle City Center and made a great 'home base' for us as we made day trips during our stay. Jill is very gracious and thoughtful. Her Irish breakfast was the best and she had a great menu to choose from (the Irish porridge was also very good!). I would highly recommend Liston Family B&B for your next trip to the Dingle area!

This was our second trip to the Dingle peninsula. Last time, we stayed at Inch which was a gorgeous location. This time, we wanted to stay close to the town of Dingle. The Liston Family B&B was an excellent choice for us as it was less than a mile outside of town -- very convenient. We stayed two nights, and Jill was a very nice host with good information. This is a newer facility with very clean rooms and many choices for breakfast, including a full Irish breakfast. Highly recommended.

Jill was a lovely host for our stay and her home is super quiet (if you don't count an occasional sheep in the distance) making for a restful night's sleep. Breakfast was delicious and Jill was very helpful with recommendations about local sights and places to hear music. She has the classic breakfast items and a few unique ones as well. I had fried bananas and bircher, yum!

Fabulous....but don't tell everyone
5 of 5 starsReviewed 5 September 2014

My friend and I stayed with Jill for two nights recently and had such a comfortable stay. Jill is friendly and welcoming and gives all sorts of tips for where to go and what to see. The bedroom we had was spacious and comfortable.
The breakfast choices were a little different from the generic Irish fry-up.....Fruit compote with yoghurt and homemade granola or bircher with yoghurt and fried banana
If you want to stay somewhere where the "staff" don't interact with you this is not the place to stay but if you want to take your time and find out a little about the lives of people who live in this very special part of Ireland this is the place for you.

Room Tip: I'm not sure that there is a bad room here but you get a better view of the countryside if you a...
